Welcome to the place that has it all. From shopping centers to grocery stores, from restaurants to dog parks. Welcome to Aberdeen!
What to Expect
Aberdeen overlooks the city while partially surrounding the Thompson River Valley. It’s home to both new and older residents while being centrally located to many businesses and other communities within Kamloops.
Aberdeen can be seen as a family-based neighbourhood with Elementary Schools, Day cares, and the Aberdeen Community Association. With over 9000 residents, it is one of the more populated areas of Kamloops. Here you can expect warm and dry summers with mild winters, all while being minutes away from lakes, trails, golf courses and more.
This is a prime location for major businesses. Are you looking for somewhere to go shopping for your new winter wardrobe? No Problem. Are you looking for a gym that’s open 24/7? Aberdeen’s got you covered, being only 5 minutes from Costco, Aberdeen mall, and Anytime Fitness. Or perhaps Chapters may be your cup of coffee if you enjoy reading a book while drinking a warm cup of Joe. If you enjoy fine dinning you MUST check out Romeo’s, Milestones, Atlas Steak + Fish, as well as MATCH Eatery and Public House.
We can’t forget Aberdeen Hills Park or the Albert McGowan Park to take your kiddos to on those warm summer days. Here you can enjoy slow-pitch, a playground, soccer or the water park! If you’re looking for somewhere safe to bring your dogs to play without worrying about them running off, try the Aberdeen Hills Dog Park. It has benches, water for your dogs to drink and even a separate fenced in area for the little dogs.
Looking for a special Holiday event coming up? Aberdeen Mall hosts the Santa Claus Photos where you can bring your loved ones or closest friends and get those memorable pictures.
Are you looking to move to Aberdeen in it’s every growing community but haven’t seen anything that catches your eye so far? Then I suggest you check out the new housing developments which include:

- Carradale Court (40 Single Family Detached Homes)
- Cobblestone Pointe (20 Duplex Style Homes)

They don’t call it Aberdeen Hills for nothing. Surrounded by rolling hills, this neighbourhood has a multitude of homes ranging from condos and apartments, to 3 floor, single family homes. Aberdeen is a prime location as it is serviced by two different bus routes as well as it is within walking distance to both Upper and Lower Sahali, Dufferin, and Pineview. The Average house price is $569,656 with an average size of 2400 to 2800 square feet with styles ranging from modern to contemporary. Also, being adjacent to Pineview, the hopes are to join the two by road, expanding even farther.
